Horizontal Screw Conveyor

Horizontal Screw Conveyor is a kind of continuous conveying equipment commonly used in metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry, food, and mechanical processing departments. It has the advantages of simple structure, low manufacturing cost, strong sealing performance, convenient operation, and can be loaded and unloaded at multiple points in the middle. Compared with other conveying equipment, it has the advantages of a small cross-sectional size of the whole machine, good sealing performance ratio, especially stable operation, multi-point loading and unloading in the middle, and easy operation and maintenance. The screw conveying equipment usually consists of three parts: the screw conveying equipment body, the in-out device, and the driving device. 

(1) Simple structure, reliable use, and long service life.

(2) Good sealing, avoid dust pollution of the environment.

(3) Since there is no bearing in the body, the body can freely expand and contract in the axial direction, so it can transport higher temperature materials (below 300 ℃).

(4) The resistance of the material conveying process is small, and gravity is used to move forward, so the energy consumption is low, which is about 50% lower than the power consumption of the general screw conveyor.

(5) Various functions, such as conveying, stirring, mixing, and heating, can be completed at the same time.

(6) It is suitable for a wide range of conveying materials. It can be used for powder, granular, block, large block, and fluid materials. It is more adaptable to high temperatures, pollution, uneven feeding, etc. But it is not suitable for conveying viscous or high-temperature materials.

Horizontal screw conveyor is mainly composed of a driving device, a head assembly, casing, a shaftless spiral body, a tank lining plate, a feeding port, a discharging port, a machine cover (when necessary), a base, and so on.
1. Driving device: A cycloidal pinwheel reducer or shaft-mounted hard-tooth surface gear reducer is used. In the design, the driving device should be set at the end of the discharge port as much as possible, so that the screw body is in a tension state during operation.
2. The head is equipped with a thrust bearing, which can bear the axial force generated when conveying materials.
3. Chassis: The chassis is U-shaped or O-shaped, with a rain-proof cover on the upper part, and the material is stainless steel, carbon steel, or glass fiber reinforced plastic.
4. Shaftless spiral body: the material is stainless steel or carbon steel.
5. Tank lining board: the material is a wear-resistant plastic plate or rubber plate, or a cast stone plate, etc.
6. Inlet and outlet: There are two kinds of square and round. Generally, the form of the inlet and outlet is determined by the user.

Horizontal screw conveyors can be used for powder, granular, and small block materials in various industries for conveying, metering, cooling, mixing, separation, compaction, and loading. According to your requirements, horizontal screw conveyors can achieve dust-proof, gas-free Tight or watertight, thus protecting not only your product from external influences, but also the environment.

 

Such as: Coal mine, ash, slag, cement, grain, recycled rubber powder, zinc oxide, calcium carbonate, etc., the material temperature is less than 200 ℃. The screw machine is not suitable for conveying materials that are perishable, viscous, and easy to agglomerate.
