Plate feeder is a kind of continuous feeding machine suitable for short distance transmission of the bulk material, It is especially used in mining, material handling, and bulk processing industry.

The Structure

The plate feeder is composed of head wheel device, scale plate chain device, tail wheel tensioning device, guide material protection device, frame and driving device.

1. Driving device: these apron conveyors don't move very fast-usually under 0.5 meters per second. Because of that, the drive system is pretty straightforward: just a motor paired with a reducer. It connects directly to the head wheel shaft using something called a cross-slider coupling. That keeps things simple-no complicated parts.

2. Tail wheel tensioning device: this device uses a simple screw-style tensioning setup. Basically, you've got a tail wheel shaft, two sprockets at the end, a pair of tensioning screws, and some other bits and pieces.

3. Scale plate chain device: The chain it uses is made up of piece chains and stamped chains that have rollers attached at the ends. These rollers are mounted on the outside of the outer chain plate, and their job is pretty simple-they just support the weight of the material on the plate. The joint sleeves-the parts that connect the chain links-are made from alloy steel. plate hopper is pressed into shape from thick steel plate using a mold, so each one comes out accurate and consistent.

4. Rack: We build these racks using a standardized process. it makes the manufacturing super consistent, eliminates errors that people can make.
