Skirt Belt Conveyor

The structure of the Skirt Belt Conveyor is to glue the rubber wave vertical "skirts" that can be stretched freely on both sides of the flat rubber conveyor belt, and between the skirts, there are diaphragms with certain strength and elasticity. The skirt sidewall belt conveyor can be widely used in coal, grain, building materials, chemical industry, hydropower, metallurgy, and other departments. 

(1) It can transport bulk materials at a large inclination angle, which can save a lot of equipment floor space and completely solve the conveying angle that cannot be achieved by ordinary and patterned belt conveyors.

 Material is loaded from the tail receiving point into a hopper consisting of corrugated sidewalls, partitions, and a base belt → powered by a drive unit → supported and guided by upper branch idlers and sidewall idlers → runs stably under the constraint of the pressure rollers → unloaded at the head roller → cleaned by a sweeping device → supported by lower branch idlers on the return belt → tensioned by a tensioning device → returns to the tail to complete the cycle.

These are the five most basic arrangements of the skirt belt conveyor. In order to obtain better material receiving and unloading conditions, most of the models adopt the "Z" row arrangement. That is, there is an upper horizontal section, a lower horizontal end, and an inclined section, and the material is fed at the lower horizontal end and discharged at the upper horizontal section. 

The Skirt Belt Conveyor (also known as sidewall conveyors or steep-angle corrugated sidewall belt conveyors) has significant advantages in material adaptability due to their unique structure, but also clear limitations.

Generally speaking, they are very suitable for conveying loose solid materials that need to climb steep slopes and are prone to clumping, but not suitable for materials with extremely high flowability, excessive viscosity, or high abrasiveness.
