The yield varies greatly depending on the cracking raw materials used, with a yield of about 5% (by mass) when using diesel and heavy hydrocarbons as raw materials, and less when using naphtha or lighter hydrocarbons as raw materials. Most of the composition is C10~C16 aromatic hydrocarbons, mainly naphthalene and its derivatives, which can be used as raw materials for the production of naphthalene by dealkyl method, and can also be directly used as fuel oil. Taking Daqing light diesel as a pyrolysis raw material as an example, the main component of pyrolysis light diesel (see table) naphthalene accounted for 7.83% (volume), and its derivatives accounted for about 66%.
