What is the difference between front slag discharge and rear slag discharge when use waste tires pyrolysis plant?

 

The slag discharge method of waste tires pyrolysis machine is mainly divided into two types: front slag discharge and rear slag discharge, which have their own advantages and disadvantages in terms of process design, operational efficiency, environmental impact and so on. The following is a detailed comparison of the two slagging methods:
First, the front slagging

Advantages:
1. Simple structure, lower cost
The front slagging equipment usually adopts open or semi-closed design, relatively simple structure, low manufacturing and maintenance costs, suitable for limited budget or environmental protection requirements of the scene is not high.
2. Suitable for small-scale production
For small-scale or intermittent production of oil refining equipment, the front slagging method can meet the basic needs, and high operational flexibility.
3. Easy observation and maintenance
As the slag discharge port is usually located at the front end of the equipment, the operator can observe the slag discharge situation intuitively, which is easy to find and deal with problems in time.
Disadvantages:
1. Long cooling time, low efficiency
Front slagging requires carbon black or slag must be thoroughly cooled before discharge (usually to below 50 ℃), the cooling process takes a long time, affecting the production continuity, reducing the overall efficiency.
2. Carbon black leakage and dust pollution
Open design easily leads to carbon black leakage and dust, resulting in material loss (loss rate of up to 5% -10%) and environmental pollution, the dust concentration in the working area may far exceed the national standards.
3. Carbon black recovery is scattered, difficult to centralize management
Carbon black is usually dispersed in a number of dregs discharge points, low recovery efficiency (recovery rate of only 80% -90%), and difficult to achieve centralized management and quality control.
4. Poor working environment
Operators are exposed to high concentration of dust for a long time, high health risk, while the equipment and working area is easily contaminated by carbon black, high cleaning and maintenance costs.

Advantages:
1. Short cooling time, high production efficiency
The post-slagging system supports high-temperature slagging (usually up to 100-150 ℃), the cooling time is greatly reduced, the production continuity is strong, which significantly improves the production efficiency.
2. Fully sealed design, good environmental performance
Adoption of fully sealed screw conveyor and negative pressure system effectively prevents carbon black leakage and dust, dust concentration can be controlled below 5mg/m³, in line with environmental requirements.
3. Centralized recovery, convenient management
Carbon black is centrally transported to the designated collection point through the pipeline network, with high recycling efficiency (the recycling rate can reach more than 98%), which is convenient for unified management and quality control.
4. Clean working environment
Fully sealed design and efficient dust removal device ensures clean working environment and reduces the health risk of operators, while reducing equipment contamination and maintenance costs.
Disadvantages:
1. Complex equipment and high cost
The post-slagging system needs to be equipped with sealed conveying device, negative pressure system and centralized collection equipment, with higher initial investment and maintenance costs.
2. Higher requirements for operation
Due to the high degree of automation of the system, it requires higher technical level and equipment maintenance ability of operators, and may need specialized training.
3. Limited scope of application
The post-slagging process is more suitable for large-scale continuous production and may be less economical for small-scale or intermittent production equipment.
