Working principle
Spiral conveyor is a powder and particle conveying equipment known for its simple structure and good sealing performance. It is widely used in short-distance transportation and feeding in the building materials, grain, chemical and other industries.
Spiral Blade: The core propulsion component, welded to the screw shaft. Depending on the material being conveyed, it can be solid, belt, or bladed.
Screw Shaft: The main shaft that transmits power, typically made of steel tubing, supported by bearings at both ends.
U-Trough/Conveyor Pipe: A closed housing, typically a round tube or U-trough. Tubular types offer improved sealing, effectively preventing dust and material leakage.
Inlet and Outlet: Located at each end of the conveyor, these conveyors facilitate the flow of material.
Drive Unit: Typically composed of a motor and a reducer, providing power.
Intermediate Suspension Bearing: Long screw conveyors often feature an intermediate suspension bearing to support the screw shaft and prevent it from sagging due to its own weight. However, this is also a point prone to material jamming and wear.

Features
1. It can be conveyed horizontally or obliquely, and the conveying inclination angle is less than 20°.
2. The functional structure of the body can be roughly divided into three parts: the head section, the middle section and the tail section. The lengths of the head section and the tail section are basically fixed, and the length of the middle section can be selected according to actual needs.
3. The feeding port and the discharging port do not have to be installed at the end and the end, the entire conveying length can be loaded and unloaded, and the number of the feeding port and the discharging port can be set according to the needs.
4. The overall sealing is rigorous, which can prevent dust from flying and reduce environmental pollution.
5. It is convenient for multi-point loading and unloading, and can complete the function of mixing, stirring or cooling during the conveying process.
